In this paper, the one-loop contributions to the rare B-decays B-->X-s,X-d
nu<(nu)over bar> and B-s,B-d-->1(+)1(-) (1 = e, mu, tau) from the charged p
seudo-Goldstone bosons P+/- and P-8(+/-) are calculated. Within the paramet
er space, we find that: (a) the P+/- and P-8(+/-) can provide rather large
enhancements to the branching ratios of the rare B-decays in question, the
maximum increase is about a factor of 3 to Br(B-->X(s,d)nu<(nu)over bar>),
and a factor of 5 to Br(B-s,B-d -->1(+)1(-)); (b) the color-octet pseudo-Go
ldstone boson P-8(+/-) dominates the contributions to all rare B-decays und
er consideration; (c) no limit on the masses of charged pseudo-Goldstone bo
sons can be achieved from the current experimental data, but the forthcomin
g data may reach the sensitivity to find the signals of new physics beyond
the Standard Model.
