Abstract
The vector meson mass in 1 + 1 dimensional lattice QCD is calculated by usi ng the variational method. The predictions are proved: The errors which com e from the finite lattice spacing can be greatly reduced evidently by impro ving the lattice Hamiltonian with Wilson quark.
