Abstract
The damping capacity, mechanical properties, and structure of Zn - Al alloys are studied as a function of the regime of heat treatment, plas tic deformation (hydroextrusion), and alloying with Fe, Be, Cu, and Mg . The present work continues previous investigations of damping Zn - A l alloys conducted by the author.
