Abstract
Two correlative radar target discrimination schemes using the transien t and spectral scattered-field responses are proposed, These schemes u se time-domain and frequency-domain methods to reduce the amount of da ta that must be stored for each anticipated aspect angle, A discrimina tion range in degrees is used as a measure of discrimination performan ce, Experimental results show that the two methods require roughly sam e amount of storage space and an accurate discrimination is possible i n adverse noise situations with signal-to-noise ratios (SNR'S) as low as -10 dB.
