Abstract
Arteriovenous malformation of the uterus is a rare but potentially life-thr eatening lesion. We report a case of arteriovenous malformation of the uter us in a 19-year-old nulliparous woman. The diagnosis was made with color Do ppler sonography and was confirmed histologically. Color Doppler sonography helps differentiate uterine arteriovenous malformation from other entities that have a similar appearance on gray-scale sonograms. (C) 2000 John Wile y & Sons, Inc.
