Abstract
UFT, a combination of uracil and tegafur, is a second-generation anticancer agent. UFT has been used in Japan, other Asian countries, South America, a nd Russia. Recently, UFT has been extensively studied for colorectal pancre atic, and various types of cancer in North America and Europe, especially w ith leukovorin. We report a case of a scleroderma-like reaction induced by long-term administration of UFT. This is the first report of UFT-induced sc leroderma-like reaction.
