Abstract
Two new species of Tanycricos are described and illustrated from the Indone sian province of Irian Jaya, comprising western New Guinea: T. jaetipi n. s p. and T. ziwa n. sp., both from the upper Wapoga River basin. Additional r ecords are given for previously described species of Tanycricos in Irian Ja ya, and island wide distribution maps are provided for all species in the g enus.
