Abstract
Three new species of Neolethaeus and one of Lethaeus are described from Mad agascar. One of these (Neolethaeus madagascariensis, new species) is relate d to a West African species. These species represent some of the most strik ing species of a large complex that radiates on the island. Dorsal views ar e given for Neolethaeus polhemi, new species and Lethaeus gigas, new specie s. Illustrations of the clasper, sperm reservoir and genital capsule are in cluded for three of the four species. Generic and geographic relationships are discussed.
