Abstract
In this paper, we propose a detection method of Ts for the cross-linked pol ymer particles by applying the dynamic viscoelasticity measurements. The ty pical kinds of polymer particles were dispersed in amino alkyd resin soluti on, and the baked coating films of these composites were prepared. The temp erature dependence curves of tan delta for these films showed that two comp onents existed along with the phase separation structure of polymer blend. From the temperature of the tan delta peak corresponding to the polymer par ticles, we obtained a reasonable T-g for all particles used, but some of th em we could not detect by differental scanning calorimetry (DSC) method. Th e merits of T-g evaluation method from tan delta were clarified, and compar ed with those of DSC method.
