Amplitude equations for Turing instabilities for two models describing dyna
mics of thin liquid films with nonsoluble surfactants are derived. Analytic
al expressions for the film rupture time were obtained, and the comparison
with the results of previous numerical simulations was performed. It was sh
own that the Marangoni effect due to insoluble surfactants cannot prevent t
he film rupture.
