Abstract
Selected 1,4- and 1,5-benzoheterazepinones, prepared by the Schmidt rearran gement of flavanone analogues, were converted to the corresponding thiolact am derivatives using phosphorus pentasulfide. The proton and carbon chemica l shifts of the thiolactam derivatives are compared with those of their lac tam precursors. Copyright (C) 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
