Temperature dependence of the critical current in high-T-c superconductors

Based on a phenomenological model, previously proposed by the present autho rs, a new way of estimating the critical pair-breaking current is developed . The critical velocity and the critical current density are derived. The r esults are in good agreement with the experimental data obtained by Akinaga and Rinderer for some cuprate superconductors.
