We consider the optical properties associated with the-photoexcitation and
radiative recombination of electron-hole pairs and excitons in intrinsic qu
antum wells in an,unusual high-field regime, namely, in the presence of a s
trong de electric field in the quantum-well plane and a crossed static magn
etic field aligned with the growth direction. We find Landau-level-like osc
illatory structure in the optical density well below the lowest Landau leve
l or magnetoexciton when the electric field is:present.
