Abstract
We show that the Drell-Hearn-Gerasimov sum rule for the nucleon is entirely saturated by the Delta resonance in the limit of a large number of colors, N-c-->infinity. Corrections are at relative order 1/N-c(2). (C) 2000 Publi shed by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
