Abstract
The influence of the surface contamination of Langmuir probes on the determ ination of the parameters of a potassium plasma has been investigated exper imentally with an indirectly heated probe. The surface effects that appear during the probe heating are discussed, and from these results data for a r eliable operation mode of Langmuir probes will be deduced.
