Abstract
The detection limit of chlorophenols (2- and 4-chlorophenols and 2,4- and 2 ,6-dichlorophenols) in aqueous solutions is lowered by using bromination. T he identification procedure is developed for bromo derivatives of chlorophe nols in multicomponent mixtures, based on chromatographic retention paramet ers and use of signal ratios from a universal flame-ionization and selectiv e photoionization and electron-capture detectors.
