Yi. Korenman et al., Identification of chlorophenols in aqueous solutions by capillary gas-liquid chromatography, RUS J AP CH, 72(10), 1999, pp. 1734-1737
The detection limit of chlorophenols (2- and 4-chlorophenols and 2,4- and 2
,6-dichlorophenols) in aqueous solutions is lowered by using bromination. T
he identification procedure is developed for bromo derivatives of chlorophe
nols in multicomponent mixtures, based on chromatographic retention paramet
ers and use of signal ratios from a universal flame-ionization and selectiv
e photoionization and electron-capture detectors.
