Abstract
Traditionally in the training of mental health professionals, individu al dynamic psychotherapy skills have had a primary place in the teachi ng of psychotherapy, with group or family therapy skills added at a la ter stage. This paper will explore how experience in dynamic group psy chotherapy may actually facilitate the development of individual psych otherapy skills.
