Abstract
Two corticosteroid-carborane esters were synthesized through the use of a B OP-Cl promoted esterification. The steroid-carborane conjugates are designe d to selectively deliver boron to arthritic tissue for boron neutron captur e synovectomy, a new therapeutic approach for rheumatoid arthritis.
