Abstract
In this paper, electric field-induced quenching of poly(N-vinylarbaole) (PV K) doped with dyes was studied. The electric field-induced quenching result s from the field-induced annihilation of the emitting species. Our research es show that the effect of electric field on photoluminescence is different for different excitation wavelengths. The difference-is attributed to the generation and recombination processes of exciton. (C) 2000 Elsevier Scienc e S.A. All rights reserved.
