On the stable module category of a self-injective algebra

Let Lambda be a finite-dimensional self-injective algebra. We study the dim ensions of spaces of stable homomorphisms between indecomposable Lambda-mod ules which belong to Auslander-Reiten components of the form ZA(infinity) o r ZA(infinity)/[tau(k)]. The results are applied to representations of fini te groups over fields of prime characteristic, especially blocks of wild re presentation type.
