Abstract
Some recent progress in solid state Ti-47,Ti-49 NMR is described and review ed. The metallic-state work described covers metals such as hcp titanium, T iB2, a number of intermetallics such as TiAl2 and TiAl3. The inorganic work covers the various titanium oxide based materials including the TiO2 polym orphs, anatase, rutile and brookite. The gel work covers the evolution of c rystalline titania from gels formed by hydrolysis of titanium isopropoxide. Some complementary data from O-17 and (13) C NMR and powder X-ray diffract ion is also included.
