Abstract
Cooling towers are a significant class of engineering construction and usua lly present structural pathologies that diminish their strength. A complete study of the towers of the Spanish power plant, TERUEL, is presented in th is paper. Throughout the process, a structural analysis and the consequent safety analysis were created and multimedia software was written to facilit ate maintenance tracking of towers along their future lifetime.
