Abstract
A new method for covalent immobilization of pH indicators was developed. In dicators, containing amino groups, are immobilized covalently on transparen t hydrolyzed acetylcellulose membranes. All the steps were performed at amb ient temperature. The method was rapid and allows for preparation of the fi nal membranes within one day.
