Abstract
A study was conducted on the use of water in the ceramic tile manufacturing process, focussing on water requirements in body and glaze preparation and in washing production equipment and facilities. Water consumption and wast ewater reuse systems in ceramic tile manufacture were reviewed. An in-depth , industrial scale study was performed of wastewater reuse in the manufactu ring process, examining how wastewater reuse affected pollutant contents in gas emissions and solid waste.
