Abstract
Screening of 260 Brassica rapa lines resulted in identification of five lin es with partial resistance to brown girdling root rot (BGRR). A method for simultaneously selecting for canola quality traits and reduced disease susc eptibility was developed and used to screen progeny of crosses to BGRR susc eptible canola quality lines.
