Abstract
In this Note, we consider the problem of the flow of a viscous plastic flui d in a cylindrical pipe. We apply the nonconforming mortar finite element d omain decomposition method to this problem governed by a variational inequa lity. We prove the convergence of the method and we obtain the same converg ence rates as for the existing conforming case. (C) 2000 Academie des scien ces/Editions scientifiques et medicales Elsevier SAS.
