Densities and speeds of sound for the ternary mixture (cyclohexane + tetrah
ydrofuran + chlorocyclohexane) and the binary mixtures (cyclohexane + tetra
hydrofuran) and (cyclohexane + chlorocyclohexane) have been measured at 298
.15 and 313.15 K. The isentropic compressibilities and the excess isentropi
c compressibilities have been calculated from the experimental data Excess
isentropic compressibilities of the mixtures have been fitted to Redlich-Ki
ster's (binary mixtures) and Cibulka's equation (ternary mixture). The isen
tropic compressibilities have been compared with values calculated from the
Free Length Theory and Collision Factor Theory.
