Abstract
Injection moulders have been dreaming of sprueless injection moulding since injection moulding was first invented. A new valve system, integrated into the runner system, makes side gating of chip cards possible without gate m arks. The valve can also undertake the holding-pressure function and separa te side or centre sprues without leaving a mark.
