Abstract
Merging of nursing services led to key opportunities to identify nursi ng research priorities in tile authors' institution. The literature su ggested that a Delphi stud! would best accomplish these goals. Using a 110-member panel, a study was begun that identified two final topics that were focused on nursing administration research. Collecting these data served many purposes, including increased organizational awarene ss about nursing research and development of a nursing research counci l to facilitate future activities.
