Abstract
The hexane extract of the bark of Entandrophragma delevoyi has yielded a no vel tetranortriterpenoid, delevoyin C. This compound contains a cyclobutany l ring incorporating C-19 and a cycloheptanyl ring C including C-30. Geduni n and 11 beta-Acetoxygedunin were isolated from the hexane extract of the w ood.
