Abstract
Qinghaosu and Yingzhaosu are two peroxy - containing antimalarial constitue nts isolated from Chinese medicinal herbs. Qinghaosu has become a novel ant imalarial drug and is interesting to synthetic organic chemists. This paper summarizes their total syntheses.
