Primary solitary amyloidoma of the spine is a disease characterized by loca
lized deposits of amyloid. We describe and illustrate the radiologic appear
ance of primary solitary amyloidoma of the spine on plain radiographs, CT s
cans, and MR images. The imaging findings revealed features of a nonspecifi
c soft-tissue mass with calcifications. Epidural extension of the amyloidom
a caused spinal cord compression.
