Abstract
Contribution to the phytosociological study of the swampy vegetation in Sou thern Togo. - A phytosociological study of Southern Togo swampy vegetation reveals Zanthoxylum zanthoxyloides communities, Machaerium lunatum thickets , Rhizophora racemosa community, Echinochloetum pyramidalis, Cyperus laxus and Sphenoclea zeylanica - Leersia hexandra grass-lands, Cyperus articulatu s and Vetiveria nigritana savannas. This study provides a contribution to t he knowledge of a very interesting and threatened environment.
