Abstract
Three cases of intracranial Tl-201 uptake, reported as positive tumour acti vity in patients with a final diagnosis of abscess, are described. Tl-201 h as been proposed as a useful oncotropic radiotracer in the diagnosis of bra in tumour activity. These cases suggest a note of caution in the interpreta tion of Tl-201 brain images in the differential diagnosis of an intracrania l expanding mass.
