Hs. Guo et al., Studies of selective enrichment and recognized characteristics of paracetamol molecular template polymer, CHEM J CH U, 21(3), 2000, pp. 363-367
A molecular templated synthetic polymer as the receptor highly selective fo
r paracetamol was prepared by a molecular imprinting technique, The selecti
ve binding characteristics of the template polymer were evaluated by Scatch
ard analysis and Ultraviolet spectrometry, The results showed that the acry
lamide as the functional monomer was more better than methacrylic acid for
paracetamol selectivity, and a class of the same binding sites which could
specially bind paracetamol by the interaction of hydrogen bonding were form
ed in the polymer and its dissociation constant was estimated to be 2. 25 X
10(-3) mol/L, The selective binding experiment for substrates indicated th
at the polymer gave a higher affinity and selectivity for paracetamol, It i
s possible to be a good adsorption and binding material in the selective en
richment and determination of trace paracetamol in complex biosamples.
