Abstract
The effect of photoinduced dipole interactions between atoms on the adsorpt ion kinetics and transport processes on a surface are studied within the av erage field approximation. Adatom migration processes under an inhomogeneou s distribution of the external electromagnetic field intensity are analyzed . The feasibility of governing the kinetics of surface phenomena is demonst rated.
