Abstract
A rare case of tumoral calcinosis, discovered in the medial pterygoid muscl e and around the temporomandibular joint on a routine panoramic radiograph is presented. CT was found to be ideal for the determination of the exact l ocation of the calcifications. The differential diagnosis of tumoral calcin osis is discussed.
