Abstract
This review focuses on the molecular mechanisms involved in the regulation of multiple drug resistance in the model yeast Sacchoromyces cerevisiae and the pathogenic fungus Candida albicans, Recent developments in the study o f the transcription factors Pdr I p, Pdr3p and Yap I p are reported.
