Abstract
The optimisation of a modulation scheme for simultaneous transmission of ba seband digital data and remote local oscillator (LO) signal delivery for ap plication in a millimetre-wave fibre-radio system is presented. An analytic al model is developed to investigate the performance of the modulation sche me. Good agreement with measurements is observed and it is found that a ran ge of operating parameters exist which enable optimal system performance.
