The transmission performance of SMF-based dispersion flattened systems usin
g SCDCF and RDF has been experimentally investigated. The feasibility of tr
ansmission distance enhancement in 330Gbit/s (32 x 10.7Gbit/s) WDM transmis
sion has been confirmed via the use of an appropriate dispersion map.
