Abstract
A ray-tracing model based on the uniform theory of diffraction is briefly d escribed. A comparison between simulation and experimental results at 12.5 and 30GHz is presented. Since measurements were carried out in winter and l ate summer, they also highlight the effect of vegetation at these frequenci es. Finally, the ray-tracing tool is applied to the characterisation of an urban channel at several frequency bands.
