Bb. Shishkin et Av. Isaev, Structure of the Precambrian and Cambrian deposits in the northeast of theSiberian Platform, GEOL GEOFIZ, 40(12), 1999, pp. 1795-1807
New deep-drilling data on the stratigraphy of the Precambrian and Cambrian
deposits of the Lena-Anabar megatrough are reported. New lithostratigraphic
units differing considerably in composition and structure from the coeval
deposits of the natural section of the Olenek dome are recognized.
The lithostratigraphic subdivision of borehole sections and their correlati
on allow a uniform stratification of time CDP sections and refinement of th
e structure of the Precambrian and Cambrian sections in areas characterized
and not characterized by drilling.
It is substantiated that the Cambrian taphrogenic assemblage is widespread
in the Lena-Anabar megatrough, which is part of a single barrier-reef belt
bordering the Yudoma-Olenek basin in the north and northeast. It has been f
ound that the Kuoi-Daldyn rampart-like uplift continues as a paleouplift cr
ossing the Lena-Anabar megatrough in a northwestern direction.
