Abstract
A modification of the method of half-space moments as applied to the proble m on the calculation of heat flux from a uniformly heated spherical particl e in an arbitrary range of Knudsen numbers is suggested. The results of num erical calculations are presented in the form of an analytical expression. The accuracy of approximation is not less than 0.4% in the entire range of particle size.
