Share dealing on the web: a comprehensive review of design specifications across the globe

Given the rapid increase, over the past couple of years, of share dealing s ervices available on the web, this paper describes the findings of a resear ch study into the design specification of web-based (net) share trading sit es. The purpose of the research is to highlight the key features of net tra ding sites across the globe and to identify 'best of breed' examples of the features. The research is based on the latest available literature and a r eview of the majority of the sites across the globe. With this background i n mind, the paper offers the first comprehensive review of the types of fea tures that are available on net trading sites across the globe. (C) 2000 El sevier Science Ltd.
