Abstract
This paper reports the measured values of the density and viscosity of bina ry mixtures of N-methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) and triethylene glycol monomet hyl ether (TEGMME) at five temperatures in the range 25 degrees C to 70 deg rees C over the whole concentration range. We also report the density and v iscosity of the binary mixture MDEA + ethanol at 40 degrees C. The results are compared with data for aqueous mixtures and other alkanolamines when th ese are available. The derived excess molar volumes and viscosity deviation s were correlated as a function of composition. The Grunberg-Nissan interac tion energy constants are also reported.
