Abstract
Ratios of C-13/C-12 and O-18/O-16 in soil carbonates and humus are exa mined. It is shown that pedogenic carbonates with isotopic composition delta(13)C = -10...-11 parts per thousand and delta(18)O = 18-19 part s per thousand accumulate in soil in disperse and segregated forms. '' Heavier'' values of delta(13)C and delta(18)O of soil carbonates are e xplained by admixture of heavy isotopes from Lithogenic components.
