Abstract
Three functional stages of agricultural afforestation systems were dis tinguished on the basis of long-term, since 1968, surveys. They differ by the intensity of the meliorative process and the efficiency of sys tem activity aimed at the increase of productivity of agricultural cro ps grown in semidesert regions. Eluvial-saline agrozems that are forme d as a result of reclamation of solonchakous solonetzes are considered .
