Abstract
The fundamentals of contemporary natural science represent a combinati on of deterministic and stochastic approaches to nature. V.V. Dokuchae v was the first who recognized deviations in the determinism connected with the stochastic character of relations between factors and phenom ena. Contemporary soil science has to take into account that human act ivity transforms a significant portion of natural soils into man-made bodies.
