Abstract
Effective diffusion coefficients were obtained in a laboratory run on samples of sphagnum from drained and undrained highmoor bogs with diff erent aeration porosity. A correction was applied for the specified pr obability (calculated from the pore-size distribution) of the event th at determines changes in contributions of inner and interaggregate por osities.
