Abstract
CdS nanocrystallites with cubic or hexagonal phase structures have been syn thesised at room temperature via precipitation of Cd2+ ions with homogeneou sly released S2- ions, generated from the decomposition of thio-acetamide b y ultraviolet irradiation reduction.
